Nicholas Serota

Sir Nicholas Andrew Serota, CH is director of the Tate art museums and galleries. He was director of The Museum of Modern Art, Oxford, and the Whitechapel Gallery, London, before becoming in 1988 director of the Tate, the United Kingdoms national gallery of modern and British art. He has been the chairman of the Turner Prize jury.
